Karen Frischmann is a second-generation certified Pilates teacher with over 20 years of experience, specializing in teacher education. Her mission is to support Pilates instructors in developing their unique teaching styles and deepening their understanding of the classical Pilates repertoire.
Karen offers a variety of educational programs, such as The Mastery Series—a unique educational experience for advanced Pilates teachers that includes monthly 90-minute workshops and personalized group consultations. She also leads the year-long online program Classical Progressions, designed for teachers worldwide.
Exciting news: Karen will be conducting Classical Progressions live for the first time at Pilango® Pilates in Wrocław! More information will be available soon.
Lesley Logan is a second-generation certified Pilates teacher specializing in breathwork, habits and mindset coaching. She is the founder of OnlinePilatesClasses.com, the first free online directory of Pilates exercise tutorials, where she also offers classes and workshops online.
She has been teaching Pilates since 2008. During this time, she has managed multiple studios, trained hundreds of future instructors, and led workshops for students and teachers of the method around the world.
When she’s not recording training materials from her studio in Las Vegas, Lesley hosts the podcast "Be It Till You See It" and organizes international Pilates workshops and retreats.
She is also the creator of Lesley Logan's OPC flashcards—learning aids that help students and teachers master the Pilates exercise repertoire. Conference participants will have the opportunity to order flashcards for pickup onsite in Wrocław!
During the previous edition, we had the honour of hosting world-class teachers: Karen Frischmann and Lesley Logan as well as (online) the legendary Jay Grimes himself, who learned directly from Joseph Pilates at his New York studio. That was one of Jay's last public appearances before he passed away in July 2024.
Over the three intense days of the conference, we explored (among others): the technical aspects of working on the reformer, ways of guiding clients towards advanced exercises, the foundations of the method such as the Two-Way Stretch, and took part in an inspiring mat workshop and Q&A session with Jay Grimes.
It was an unforgettable journey into the heart of classical pilates—full of knowledge, practice, and passion.
